Scribbler Stays Abreast On Important Issues

As part of its ongoing support for the CoppaFeel charity, Scribbler is not only using its store windows as part of an awareness campaign to encourage women to check their breasts for possible signs of breast cancer but is also donating 12.5% of sales on a range of ‘boob’ products, both in store and online, until the end of this month, to the good cause.

The 12.5% donation is being made to CoppaFeel on a collection of 25 exclusive greeting card designs as well as boob-related gifts, from a box of Friars chocolate breasts to a Boobie Pocket Pal handwarmer.

In addition, initiated by Aisling Crosland, Scribbler’s head of design, a companywide ‘Boobathon’ is in full flow with those in head office as well as in the stores all coming up with various ways of supporting the charity this month, be it through sponsored runs and bike rides, raffles or ‘guess the weight of the stress boob’.

This focused activity builds on Scribbler’s commitment to CoppaFeel, which includes having collecting boxes in each store for the charity as well as through sales specific occasions and Christmas products.

“Anything I can do to help this inspirational charity, I will,” Jennie Procter, co-founder of Scribbler told PG Buzz.

CoppaFeel is headed up by Kris Hallenge, who after a grave diagnosis at age 23 in 2009, has continued her fight to beat the disease.  “Kris is a true fighter and anything we can do to draw people’s attention to the charity and the need to get checked, has to be done!” said Jennie.
