Piers Morgan Sounds Off Positively About Second Nature Distributed Range

For the second time in two months, Piers Morgan, the opinionated co-presenter of ITV’s Good Morning Britain has ‘sounded off’ in a positive way about the Politically Incorrect card collection, which is published by Really Wild Cards and distributed by Second Nature.

Giving the sound card range a huge PR boost on yesterday’s (February 23) breakfast programme Piers launched in by demonstrating the Boris Johnson ‘Congratulations you’ve had the jab’ design before using it as an excuse to show the card design based on himself, telling his co-presenter Susanna Reid to be quiet while he played the sound clip.

Having given the thumbs up to the accuracy of his voice as well as that of Boris, Susanna gave a name check to Darren Altman, who does all the voices in the range.

As a result of the broadcast, John Wignall, founder of Really Wild Cards was inundated with enquiries, further fuelled by the coverage trending as the main news story on MSN. “It went manic, certainly a pretty exciting day,” John summed up.

Piers originally featured the Politically Incorrect design based on himself on the TV programme in December, to mark his co-presenter Susanna Reid’s birthday.

He had purchased the card from Card Bureau in London’s Holland Park having spotted it at the top of the spinner display. At the same time Piers also bought the new Boris Vaccine card and took pictures of the spinner display which he then featured on his personal Instagram.

This week, Second Nature was contacted by ITV to ask they could be sent some samples of some of our range for the TV show, which the publisher was of course keen to oblige.

John Wignall told PG Buzz that work is well underway on the next clutch of characters to join the collection, including the likes of James Corden, Michael McIntyre, Bruno Tonili and Craig Revel Horwood from Strictly as well as some more females, including Gemma Collins, Stacey Solomon, Janet Street Porter and Nessa.

While there are card designs from several contemporary publishers out there featuring chief medical officer, Professor Chris Whitty, John has little intention to include him. “When I sit down (or Zoom) with Tim West, from Second Nature and Darren our voiceover we discuss not only just who is trending at the moment, but someone who has levity as a fun character, preferably controversial and has the looks for a good caricature and has the large personality to like or dislike to persuade someone to send as a card. As far as politicians go, while some will tone down and possibly disappear, such as the likes of Matt Hancock whatever happens we have our Boris for a good few years and then there are other such as Rishi and even Keir Starmer, possibly for the future.”
