Liverpool Comes Top Of The Calendar League

With the days counting down to not only the start of a new year, but a new decade, Danilo has revealed what are ‘top of the pops’ on the 2020 calendar front – and Liverpool FC comes top of the league!

It is not just in the football Premiership that Klopp’s team is out in the lead as the 2020 official licensed calendar from Danilo has been scoring goals at retail with the title taking the number one slot in the publisher’s Calendar Chart.

With Manchester United being the only other sports calendar title to make it into the ‘Top Ten’ (ranking in 6th place), the other entries are a mixture of entertainment and music brands.

Making the grade for the first time, in second and third slot respectively is Stranger Things (the most watched Netflix series ever) and popular Korean boy band, BTS. Among the other new entries are BBC series Peaky Blinders (in 9th place) and Disney movie Frozen 2 (in 4th place).

Making its way up the chart is TV series Friends, which jumped from 10th position in last year’s charts up to 4th place.  The enduring appeal of Cliff Richard is also evident as the stalwart performer takes 8th place, beating Little Mix (who take the 10th position.)

The announcement of the Top Ten coincided with a host of marketing activity Danilo instigated to support its retailer stockists. These include a competition with HMV to win a calendar signed by Cliff Richard while Calendar Club offered a calendar signed by Kylie.
