Having started their card and gift business, Worry Less Design out of frustration of not being able to find suitable products for their cyclist friends, twin sisters Christie Page and Caroline Adamthwaite are now stepping up a gear with the launch of their sports-related products into the States.
Taking a somewhat different tack to most card and gift companies, instead of electing to show at one of the more traditional trade shows, the Hampshire-based publisher will debut in a few weeks time at the Rock ‘n’ Roll Health & Fitness Expo in San Antonio, Texas.
This two-day health and fitness expo (which takes place December is attended by all 25,000 participants of the San Antonio Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon. As well as collecting their race packs, runners are keen to discover the latest in running technologies, fitness apparel, health and nutrition information – and of course greeting cards and gifts which tap into their sporty lifestyles!
Following the initial exposure at the Expo, Worry Less Design will then officially launch their full collection on Etsy in the US, but with some ‘muscle’ behind even this. Nicky Mckerlie, a personal trainer and fitness expert with a background in business management, who is based in Round Rock, Texas is to head up Worry Less Design as the brand’s USA Etsy store manager.
Speaking of the launch, Worry Less’ co-founder Caroline said: “We are so excited to be launching Worry Less Design in the US! With over 25,000 runners in the San Antonio Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon, the Health & Fitness Expo is the perfect platform for us to launch our products to the running community. We are proud to welcome Nicky to the team too. Her passion for running and cycling alongside her wealth of business experience makes her the perfect person to help us kick start our US operations”.
As well as having exhibited at PG Live this year, Worry Less has also participated in major consumer events such as the National Running Show, RunFestRun and the London Marathon, as well as having secured coverage in consumer magazines, including Good Housekeeping, Women’s Running and Outdoor Fitness.
