Retas’ Finalists Make Hay While The Sun Shines

The flurry of excitement for Retas 2019 finalists has gone up a notch as these top UK retailers show their marketing prowess by contacting the press, creating videos and posting on social media about reaching the final nomination stage.

News that Leeds-based QLM Hallmark is in The Retas finals has resulted in an impressive amount of PR for the Yorkshire-based retailer with full articles appearing in Business Up North and the BDaily online news site with other PR in the bag.

As QLM’s founder, Maurice Esofsky said: “This year we’ve made a significant investment in QLM Hallmark to significantly expand our product range and create an exceptional retail environment. It’s proving extremely popular with people shopping for cards, gifts and anyone planning parties and celebrations. To have our efforts recognised by making it to the finals of The Retas is a fantastic endorsement for our business.”

Meanwhile as well as being featured in The Inverness Courier (https://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/news/beauly-business-makes-it-into-nationwide-greeting-card-retailing-awards-finals-177781/), it was ‘lights, cameras, action’ up in the Scottish Highlands as The Old School Beauly team shot a film to announce its Retas’ finalist status and posted it on social media channels with great results.

“We are absolutely thrilled to be nominated for a Retas award,” said Helen Crawford, who co-owns The Old School Beauly with her husband William. “We announced the nomination on our social media channels with a funny wee video and we have already received over 4,000 views and heaps of positive feedback!” added a delighted Helen.

All Retas 2019 finalists as well as finalists and winners from 2018 have been invited to a special champagne reception at PG Live on both days of the show – and all 2019 finalists have a £75 Sunshine Ticket to spend while 2018 winners have a £150 one and 2018 finalists a Silver Ticket, worth £75 against any order spent at the show.
