Known for his breezy disposition, snappy dress sense, penchant for grueling running challenges, Robin is a well known and loved smiling face in the North West retail community as well as at trade shows.

“I have always said I would retire by the time I was 60. With all the product launches that publishers are gearing up for, now seems the ideal time to hand over the baton to whoever is going to take over from me,” Robin told PG Buzz.

Testament to his character and the relationships he forges with retailers and publishers, Robin has a strong roster of publishers he represents, the majority of whom he has worked with for many years.

“I have represented Caroline Gardner for 25 years, The Art File for 21 years and Belly Button for over 20,” he explains. In addition to these, Robin has also carried Stop the Clock, Pulp and Rosie Made a Thing.

“Thank you all, it’s been a great 28 years…now though there’s time for a few more holidays!!

I’ve loved working in this industry – the people and the products are just fabulous,” says Robin.

When asked about the lowlights of his time as an agent, Robin says, “There has only been one, but it is a biggie – the M6!”
