It’s been nearly two years since Katie Phythian Design launched its hand-finished greeting cards exclusively to independent shops across the UK. Since then the company has experienced phenomenal growth and after careful consideration founder Katie Phythian has decided to branch out, launching the new baby collection with Zippy Baby at the recent INDX show at the beginning of July.

Kate Phythian Design is quickly expanding their brand reach into Europe and so the association with Zippy will be a welcome boost. “It’s a perfect partnership in every way,” said founder, Katie Phythian. “Working closely with Nicole at Zippy we were able to find the right design mix and we’re super pleased with the result.”

The two brands have the added benefit of overlapping a number of sales agents and gift shops across the UK. “We are so pleased with the outcome,” said Zippy MD Nicole Graham “We know our customers are going to be thrilled with the new range. The response from customer market research has been overwhelmingly favourable.”

Initially Zippy Baby will be launching with the bandana bib collection with further expansion planned for muslin cloths, baby grows and clothing.
