Industry turns out for House of Cards’ housewarming

The sun was shining, people were smiling and House of Cards’ flagship Wallingford store had never looked better as greeting card publishers and gift suppliers turned up in their droves to the retailer group’s ‘open house’ event last Thursday (April 20) which officially marked the unveiling of the revamped new look.

Funky retro lights, bespoke feature display fixtures and branded vinyl wrapped slat wall were just three elements that stand out in the hefty investment House of Cards’ co-owners, Miles Robinson and Nigel Williamson have expended in the new look.

“What is so lovely is that so many customers have told us how they like the new look of the store, saying it feels bigger and more contemporary, yet is still warm and welcoming. Music to our ears as this is exactly what we wanted to achieve!” says Miles.

Representatives from Paperlink, Cardgains, Tracks, Joe Davies, Pigment, The Imaging Centre, PG, Xpressions, Unique, GBCC, Nigel Quiney, WPL Gifts and Paul Lammond were among those who attended last Thursday’s official reopening of House of Cards’ Wallingford new look flagship.
