Daniel, who has been operations director of the company for many years, is certainly no stranger to the business, having started with the company in 2001 and been instrumental in the launch of Danilo’s first sound card ranges and personalise.com (the customised card aspect).

Commenting of his appointment, Daniel said: “It’s been a year of planning for me to take the reins, and that was to make sure the future structure of Danilo was in place and the expansion plans well on the way. I can’t wait now for 2018 to begin when we are celebrating our 40th year of trading.”

Danilo sells over 11 million cards and 5 million giftwrap products annually. There are further plans to increase the work force to drive European sales.

New licences to Danilo include Roald Dahl, World of Walliams (David), Jurassic World, Gruffalo, L.O.L and Peter Rabbit.
