As the nation’s schoolchildren get back in the flow of term time, Carte Blanche’s newest brand is playing a part in the education process this month!
Coinciding with the introduction of Carte Blanche’s new plush brand, Dinky debuting in stores, the company is also delivering 600 specially created Dinky Schools Activity Book into primary schools along with some Dinky bears, some clothing and stickers. The booklet, echoes Dinky’s role to be the ‘friend to have adventures with’ leaving room for photos and space for children to write about their adventures with Dinky.
“We had one school in Horsham contact us immediately – saying they are planning on using the pack as part of its ‘Star of the Week’ activity, using it as an incentive for good behavior,” Rosie Triggs, Carte Blanche’s digital marketing executive told PG Buzz.
“This is just phase one. We are looking to build on this activity involving more schools next term,” added Rosie. For one primary school in Bolton, Dinky will have extra poignancy as it was where Steve Mort-Hill, the head artist for Me to You and Dinky attended all those years ago!
The Dinky brand, which is aimed at girls 4-9, is also set to gain more exposure through licensing, in addition to stocking the bears, Tesco gearing up to launch girls nightwear and underwear at the start of next month into 139 stores.
