From You to Me’s WOW! You’re…Birthday Books range scooped the trophy for the Cards and Gifts category in the GA’s Gift of the Year awards.
The innovative gift book business was presented with its trophy at an awards gathering which took place at the Spring Fair on Sunday (February 2).
Covering specific children’s ages, each WOW! book comes with a decorated envelope enabling it to be easily posted and designed to be displayed as a birthday card and/or stored on a bookshelf. Each birthday book include 28 pages of fun and quirky information pertinent to that year, such as by their second birthday a child has spent over one year asleep, or that lions can’t roar until they are two years old.
The book/card product beat James Ellis’ Paper Shakies card range;
Pyramid’s Decorasian gift boxes and Wraptious’ Sophie Corrigan collection, which each received Highly Commended trophies.
Scoring in the Festive and Occasional category, greeting card publisher, 1Tree Cards was delighted to be presented with the winning trophy for its Tree Wishes Festive Box which includes 10 Christmas cards as well as 10 seed tokens that can be planted to grow bee-friendly plants. In addition, the publisher plants 10 trees for every pack bought.
Innovative children’s products, Squelch Wellies scored a hat trick triumph in the GOTY awards, taking home a trio of trophies. In addition to winning the Children’s Gift and Fashion Accessory categories, Squelch Wellies, a range of transparent wellies with interchangeable socks was also announced as the winner of the Gift of the Year’s coveted Judges’ Choice award, sponsored by Max Publishing, owners of Progressive Greetings and PG Buzz.
