NSW countdown begins

Lamy comp kicks off seven weeks of sponsored events to reach stationery heaven

Seven weeks of countdown competitions have begun with sponsors Lamy kicking off the lead up to National Stationery Week.

Joined by fellow sponsors The Art File, Silvine UK, Pilot Pen, Exaclair and Manuscript Pen, NSW ambassador Sarah Laker has started the countdown to the big event over 13-19 May by revealing Lamy’s comp which runs this week – the owner of Stationery Supplies in Marple and Wilmslow  can be seen above and in the video below.

Featured on social media with entries via the NSW Instagram page, the comp is celebrating 20 years of Lamy Safari Special Editions and all you have to do is comment on the post with the name of the pen company’s first special edition colour back in 2004.

Entries close at midnight on Thursday, 28 March, with the winner to be picked at random from all the correct entries who have followed @natstatweek and @lamy_global, and announced on Sunday, 30 March, with the price of a Lamy goodie bag containing this year’s special edition Violet Blackberry fountain pen.

And there will be a new competition each week featuring the other sponsors leading up to National Stationery Week, and the London Stationery Show on Tuesday and Wednesday, 14-15 May.

There was an added bonus for bricks and mortar stationery retailers with the #Shelfie Facebook comp over the past couple of weeks where the stores posted a picture of their products and the one with the most votes from customers won.

A bundle of Silvine UK goodies is now on its way to Creative Cove in Lampeter after owner Sandra Jervis persuaded plenty of customers to like her post before the closing date on Friday, 22 March.
